PAST UPDATES

Episode 20, Count Your Dreams, is out! It's the big two oh! That means we're 5 months into this... that's crazy to think about. Inching ever closer to the halfway mark! :) As for the chapter, it's a pretty big one, for a lot of reasons. I won't name them all (got to leave a little bit of a mystery to incentivize reading the chapter), but I will say that you should definitely check both of the galleries after reading. And then get ready for next week's chapter.

Episode 19, Sleeping With The Light On, is out! A much more easygoing chapter than we had last week. Dare I say it's even somewhat positive? It won't last for long, though, unfortunately - or maybe it will...? You'll just have to wait and see! (As per usual, there's a new profile and an update to another, and as per usual, it's recommended you read the chapter first.)
Additionally, Server Continent has now been (pretty much) fully mapped, visible over on the Digital World info page! There's some other locations across the continent that our Intrepid Heroes didn't get to explore, but everything they've seen (and yet to see) is up. Please go look at the map I spent a lot of time on it and I just got done drawing another one.

Episode 17, Saving Grace, is out! I love poking around in Azure's brain, they're always so fun to write, and it's extra fun to reveal new information while in their POV... I mean what haha who said that. Not me.
This chapter also features the first one of a couple of side characters that've been teased in the galleries! If you haven't checked them out by now, you definitely should. I have received so much wonderful art of the Mania characters over the years and I love showing it off whenever I can. (Here's a sneak peek for anyone still reading this: there'll be a lot more art revealed alongside Chapter 20's release!)

Happy Odaiba Day!! I promise it was not intentionally planned that there'd be an update today, it just happened to be a Friday. What a fun coincidence! Man I love Digimon and I love getting to celebrate this silly holiday every year. As for Mania, episode 16, Bad Impression, Bad Advice is up! Featuring a new character profile and another evolution. This will become commonplace over the next few weeks, but you didn't hear it from me.

Happy Friday! I have once again recovered from my sickness, and episode 15, A New Obession, is up! All things considered, this one's pretty chill. At least, compared to the next ~6 or so chapters. I'm sure everything will be fine from here on out.

In other news, with us entering the second arc, OST 2 is out! This one's the longest out of them so don't let the amount of songs intimidate you. Additionally, with the recent evolutions and character introductions we've had, there's new art in both the galleries! It's hidden among everything else because they're still organized chronologically, so why don't you do a little digging and see what you can find? And as per usual, there's been a profile update this week. Should be easy to figure out who it is, but as always, I'd advise you read the chapter first.

Hello! Happy Friday! I am sick again! Somehow! It is miserable! And yet episode 14, Caught In The Crossfire, is up, despite it all. Not even going to apologize for the late update at this point. I have no clue what is going on with my body. I slept for 19 hours yesterday. Anyways I hope you enjoy the chapter it is very fun. There's new profile updates and some updates to information pages too! Yay! Alright that's it for now, see you next week, hopefully I will be FULLY recovered by then (please dear god).

Episode 11, Everyone Falls Down, is up! I actually did not realize that tonight was Update Night until about an hour ago, whoops. But I still got it done! This chapter raises some interesting questions for our heroes - and those questions will be multiplied tenfold next week... but for now, they get to enjoy a somewhat peaceful day. Sort of. Kind of. Enjoy the chapter!

Episode 10, Two's Company, is out! This chapter is very fun - some lore about the Digital World, theories as to how the group ended up here, and new characters entering the fray. As always, I'd recommend you read the chapter before looking for any new profiles, but as always, I can't stop you.
(There might also be some new Best Partner soundtracks, but again, you didn't hear that from me.)

Happy Pride Month, everyone! Not entirely relevant to this week's update (especially since it's Token Straight Boy's chapter, lol), but I wanted to say it anyways. As for the update itself, Episode 8, Unsafely Sound, is up! Are we finally starting to learn more about what exactly is going on...? Who's to say! You'll have to read the chapter to find out.

Also, just in case anyone is unaware - some characters' reference images are clickable! It'll swap between different versions of their reference. This mostly applies to the human characters, whose jackets can be removed to see their shirts, but there are some Digimon who have removable accessories, too - or maybe even different forms...? Definitely not related to any new profiles that may have gone up today. :)

...Like the Best Partner soundtracks and two new information pages! Yes, at long last, the Best Partner CDs are available, and I'm so glad that they are. I like music. I wanted to wait until this chapter to release them, for a reason that will also become apparent once you read it. So go do that if you haven't already!

And a final reminder - this is the last Wednesday update! From here on out, chapters will be uploaded every Friday, starting not in 2 days but rather next week's Friday. Friday's just an easier day for me! So if you have a calendar event for chapter releases (which, if you do... why?), be sure to update it.

It’s time! Digimon Mania is finally live!
In June 2019, I conceptualized a new group of Digimon characters, wanting a different kind of setting than the only other one I had at the time. Now, nearly 6 years later, I’ve written 42 chapters of their story, drawn them hundreds of times, and am finally able to share them with you all.

Chapter 1 of Digimon Mania, Trust Fall, is now available to the world.

And with it, the site is, too!
Feel free to explore - I’d recommend reading the first chapter before looking at any of the profiles or galleries, but I can’t stop you! There's even a comment box where you can leave feedback if you'd like (it's unfortunate that I can't change the styling for it, but oh well).
If the site is intimidating, finicky (especially on mobile, sorry), or you just don’t like the color purple, Mania is available to read on AO3 and fanfiction.net. It won’t have the screenshots, because I absolutely hate AO3’s text editor and I don’t think it’s possible to insert images on FF.net, but the text is all there! I would still highly recommend reading it here for the full experience, of course, but you’ve got options.
