DIGIMON MANIA

Welcome to the home of my first FDD (i.e. massive Digimon fanfiction project)! Digimon Mania follows a group of humans and their Digimon companions trying to figure out how to save the world. It’s my first venture into the world of FDDs, and hopefully not my last. Mania has been in the works for years, and it’s finally at a state where I can share it with the world. It’s been a long time coming.
Mania will run for 53 chapters, having launched in April 2025 and ending ideally sometime in May 2026. Chapters release weekly, and will be accompanied by additional art and profile information. The story is rated a light R for frequent violence and use of profanity.
This story is my lifeblood and driving motivation in life. I’m so excited to finally release it; I hope you choose to join me on this journey. I promise it’ll be worth it.
UPDATES
10/17/25 - EPISODE 27 + HALFWAY THERE
Guess what? Episode 27, Unfamiliar Places, is out! Do you know what that means?
I've mentioned it a couple of times before, but Chapter 27 marks the halfway point of Mania! We are officially halfway done with the story! Six months ago, I launched this thing after having pored over it tirelessly for damn near 6 years, and now, half a year later, I've posted half of it. Funny how time and numbers line up like that!
This is actually a really monumental update for me. When I finished writing chapter 27 in February of last year (2024), I realized that if I dedicated myself, I could actually finish this thing in a timely manner. It had been almost 5 years that I'd been achingly trying to write Mania, and when I realized I was halfway done, I made a promise to myself: I would start posting it in 2025, on the date I had always known I would start it, April 16th. Of course, last year I assumed I would be done with writing the entire thing by now, but... let's just say things didn't pan out like I'd originally hoped. (I am making good headway, though - only 8 chapters left to write!)
And now, almost 20 months after I finished writing this chapter, it's out in the world, and we're halfway done with Mania. That means a lot to me. I've received so much love and support over the past six months, from new fans and old, and I'd like to think I've made a couple new friends because of it. Mania means the absolute world to me, and I'm so excited that I've been able to share it. Here's to another six months (and to me actually finishing this damn thing on time)!
For now, enjoy the chapter, and I'll see you next week. That's another promise.
