Welcome to the home of my first FDD (i.e. massive Digimon fanfiction project)! Digimon Mania follows a group of humans and their Digimon companions trying to figure out how to save the world. It’s my first venture into the world of FDDs, and hopefully not my last. Mania has been in the works for years, and it’s finally at a state where I can share it with the world. It’s been a long time coming.

Mania will run for 53 chapters, having launched in April 2025 and ending ideally sometime in May 2026. Chapters release weekly, and will be accompanied by additional art and profile information. The story is rated a light R for frequent violence and use of profanity.

This story is my lifeblood and driving motivation in life. I’m so excited to finally release it; I hope you choose to join me on this journey. I promise it’ll be worth it.

Happy Friday! First off, Episode 40, Darkest Hour, is up! After the cliffhanger last week, I'm sure everyone's real excited to see the resolution. ...But you might be waiting a bit longer. You'll see. :) Hope it's still enjoyable! There's lots coming up soon, too, all of which I'm super excited for. Give it a couple weeks.

Aside from the chapter, I have an update on the future of Mania that I need to share. Currently, I've just finished writing chapter 47, which gives me 7 more weeks of "buffer" time for writing. There are 6 more chapters I need to write, and even if I manage to finish one chapter every 2 or so weeks, I will eventually run out of chapters to post on a weekly basis. Once I run out of buffer chapters, updates will be much more sporadic as I work as fast as I can on actually finishing the writing so that I can post it.
Mania will be finished, and probably within the next few months, at the very least. Though my original plan of having it all done by May this year is looking less and less likely, my work on it will continue and chapters will be posted whenever they are ready. Once I finish all of the profile art there's left to do (which isn't much), I should have a lot more time to write.
Things are still up in the air right now, as you can probably tell. I'm doing my best to stay on top of things, but it's more difficult than it might seem, considering I (shocker) have other obligations aside from my Digimon fanfiction. I'll have a better idea of the update schedule going forward; I might start spacing chapter releases out more, I might not. I'll figure it out! Don't worry about me.

I hope this news isn't too disappointing; I promise I'm trying really hard but writing 13k word chapters takes a LOT of time and effort and energy and BRAINPOWER that quite frankly I do not have enough of these days.
