Welcome to the home of my first FDD (i.e. massive Digimon fanfiction project)! Digimon Mania follows a group of humans and their Digimon companions trying to figure out how to save the world. It’s my first venture into the world of FDDs, and hopefully not my last. Mania has been in the works for years, and it’s finally at a state where I can share it with the world. It’s been a long time coming.

Mania will run for 53 chapters, having launched in April 2025 and ending ideally sometime in 2026. Chapters release as I finish them, and will be accompanied by additional art and profile information. The story is rated a light R for frequent violence and use of profanity.

This story is my lifeblood and driving motivation in life. I’m so excited to finally release it; I hope you choose to join me on this journey. I promise it’ll be worth it.

Can we pretend that airplanes - I mean, that it's still the 16th, and that it's still a Friday? Because episode 52, As The World Comes To An End, is up! After far too long... it's finally here. Please, hold your applause. The song this episode gets its title from is already on one of the soundtracks, and so the required listening for this episode is REAL SUPER DARK by Waterparks. Anna would approve, trust me.

Aside from the new chapter, I have LOTS of other updates to share!!
- First of all, this is... the second to last chapter... other than the epilogue, but STILL. There's only one real chapter left to go and that is equal parts terrifying and exhilarating. Are you excited? I'm excited. And scared. But mostly excited? But also scared.
- I know I've hinted at it before, but honestly can't remember if I've ever outright confirmed it, so... there will indeed be an epilogue after the final chapter. It will be insanely long. This is your warning.
- There is lots of new art in BOTH galleries!! Commissions, gifts, Art Fight, personal stuff, we've got it all. Check it out!
- Additionally, a new Bonus Tracklist!! I won't give any information on what it's for, but if you're caught up with the most recent chapters and you check it out, it should be pretty obvious. This playlist in particular is really special to me, I'm really glad to FINALLY get to share it.
- And you'll notice on that tracklist that... there are links to each individual song on YouTube? As well as a link to a YouTube playlist containing all of the songs on the tracklist? Yes! This is something I've wanted to do for a while but, uh, there are a lot of tracklists on the site, and I'm just one person. Eventually, each tracklist page will get the same link treatment as this new one, but it's a LOT of work so it won't happen immediately. I'll be sure to share here once it's done.
- On the links page is a link to the Mania section of my ACGGoods merch store! There are currently lots of prints and a couple sticker sheets! Eventually there will be keychains and more stickers and a lot of other stuff but I want to make unique designs/art for those which will take a while. Someday soon you'll be able to dangle Ryan over a vat of boiling liquid, don't worry.
- Perhaps the most important update so I'm gonna bold it: I will be working on Mania for NaNoWriMo this year. The NaNo official site is dead but the spirit of the challenge lives on and I'll be doing my DAMNDEST to stick to it this year. If all goes well, and I'm able to keep on target, Chapter 53 should be out in November and the epilogue likely sometime in December.
- Related to the above point: Mania will be finished before the end of 2026. This is a promise I will keep. Even if it kills me, even if I'm dragging my bloodied body through the doorframe at 11:59 PM on December 31st to post the epilogue, it WILL be over by the end of the year. I think it's about time.

That should be everything for now... once again, reaching the end of Mania is both scaring AND exciting me. I'm really looking forward to wrapping it up (hopefully satisfyingly...?) and being able to look back on what I've achieved with it over the past 7 and a half years. I'll have more to share once we actually do reach that end, but for now, just know that I'm really, really looking forward to the future. I hope you are too.
