Personality

Naturally calm in practically every situation you could throw her in, Pop has gone through life taking everything mostly in stride. Not in the way where she doesn’t care about slights against her or her friends; rather, she lives by a motto of “life happens and you just have to deal with it the best way you can”. Again, she’s not of the mindset that you can’t change anything coming your way, so why even bother - she just knows that, in the grand scheme of things, whatever the outcome will be, you’ve got to make do with it the best you can. She believes firmly in doing everything you can to make sure the future you want to see is the one you get, but she knows more than anyone else that even if it’s not, you can and should still keep trying until you’ve gotten what you want and need.

There do come times where her composure is shattered, usually in extremely chaotic situations or battles. Anger is a rare emotion for her, but fear and worry are not. She plays up her cool-headedness to the best of her ability, but sometimes it’s too much for her to manage, especially when there are more important things she needs to focus her energy on. Likewise, her usual politeness can also slip away easily if she’s pushed too far to the edge, and she;s not afraid to tell someone off if they need it. She does her best when everything is perfectly under control, and though she herself isn’t the best at maintaining that control, she always gives it her best shot to make sure things don’t get too out of hand. Additionally, though she is of course extremely protective of her friends, her immediate family’s safety is her top priority, and she will drop everything at hand to get them out of danger if she needs to.

Though incredibly devoted towards creating a better world, Pop often finds herself lost in doubt - doubt that she won’t live up to her own expectations or, worse, her family’s. She knows they’ll always support her through everything, and that as long as she does what she feels is right, that’s enough, but she’s easily led astray down a path of uncertainty. She lets others’ thoughts get to her sometimes, and her mind can get flooded by their own fears and anxieties, especially if they’re vocal about their worry. She’s trying her best to get through life on her own terms, worrying only about herself and her very close friends, but it’s hard for her to ignore others when they’re feeling down. She’s always available as a shoulder to cry on; just be aware that anything you say to her may take up residence in her mind instead of your own.

About

Pop was born in the Primary Village in File City alongside Bumble. They were practically inseparable from the moment they hatched, and even as they evolved into their in-training forms, it was impossible to get them to leave the other alone for too long. When they reached the age they should have left the village and go off on their own, they instead stuck together, remaining in the village until they evolved to their rookie forms. From then, they set out to make a home for themselves in the main city, eventually coming across a small house for sale in a little residential area. They lived there, just the two of them, for a few years, happy with their life together.

But they’d both known, from the moment they hatched, that there was someone they each were waiting for. They had no idea who they were, or when they’d meet them, but that deep-seated feeling of longing permeated their lives. When they heard news of humans being spotted just outside the city, they were the first to go and find them. The instant they saw them, they knew that they were who they had been waiting for all their lives. Since then, the four of them - Pop, Bumble, Moxie, and Damien - have made the Digital World into a home for their new family.
