About Mania

Digimon Mania is an FDD (Fan Digimon and Digidestined) project created by Zodi Stars (that’s me!). It’s existed since the summer of 2019, but fully took on a life of its own sometime in mid 2020. Ever since its conception, my life has been hell, but a pleasant hell. Mostly.

It’s about being passionate and merciful, and having faith in yourself, and fighting for peace through bravery, and achieving your ambitions through devotion, and about patience and joy and unity.
It’s about sunk-cost fallacy, feeling like a failure, wondering if you’ll ever do anything important with your life, and not knowing if you’re cut out for what your future holds. It’s about not knowing what your future holds and it’s about doing what you want even despite that.
It’s about revenge, justice, and the difference between the two, and it’s about the end of the world.
But mostly it’s about Digimon, because I really like Digimon.

I, Zodi - also known as Zood, Zoog, Zoob, Zorg, Zordlord, Zodfry, Zoidburg, ZOX8DJSK, Daisy, Lumi, Kou, the author, and Maddie - am a loser.
This should be evident enough by the fact this is a website for a Digimon fanfiction, but it bears repeating.
Clearly, I am a massive fan of Digimon. Specifically, my favorites are Adventure 02, Frontier, Ghost Game, Cyber Sleuth/Hacker’s Memory, Next Order, Survive, Liberator, the card game, and FDD as a whole. Don’t bother asking me who my favorite character is, I would not be able to answer with just one. (My favorite Digimon is BlackWarGreymon.)
I am a fan of things other than just Digimon, which you can read about here. Generally, I like language arts, the English language (yes, including the annoying parts of it), most forms of art, raptors (specifically owls), liminal spaces, modding/speedrunning games (observationally only, I can’t do any of that), the Habit Burger Grill, mint ice cream, and Twitch streaming as a whole. I am not joking about that last one. I sincerely wish I was.
